Edinson Cavani is hoping he can help sink the club he has been linked with for the past few months.
The Napoli striker is constantly attracting speculation that he could be soon on the move to Manchester City but all he is worried about is putting the ball in the back of the net to help the Italian club to a much-needed Champions League group stage win in Naples tomorrow night.
"I'd like to score to reward the fans and give them something to celebrate. I will give everything to Napoli, who have a big faith in me," he said.
"I want to score for my team, for the club, for the coach, for the people. For us the Champions League is a really important competition. We need points and a win would be good.
"Their aim is to progress to the next round, so they will come here to play their game. We must take advantage of the space created because we need points too."
