Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis admits they attempted to sign new Juventus striker Mirko Vucinic.
Vucinic joined Juve last week from AS Roma.
De Laurentiis said: "He told me he wanted to move to England for personal reasons.
"I had offered more than Juventus, but when a player says he doesn't want to come, I won't push it."
