Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has revealed Manchester City failed with a bid for Edinson Cavani.
Cavani made the move to PSG in the summer.
"Cavani, Manchester City visited me in Rome," explained De Laurentiis to Sky Sports News.
"But they just offered, I don't remember exactly but around 35 million [euros] so I didn't accept - there was a high level of interest."
