Napoli have cooled talk of a deal for Fiorentina striker Alberto Gilardino.
Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis insists he won't be digging deep into his pockets for the Italian international.
"Gilardino won't be a Napoli player," the movie mogul told La Gazzetta dello Sport on Tuesday.
"The transfer market is still open for us, but only to correct anything that we may have got wrong in this phase.
"I have invested on four players to strengthen a squad that is already very competitive."
