Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has plans to invest in US soccer.

De Laurentiis admits he did consider buying into a new franchise in Miami.

"Four to five years ago I moved to England and the United States. The immediacy of England was through my cinema work, in Naples it was too tough.

"I think in the US you can argue that in 10 years they will go to great heights and there are capable people in the league that have increased the value of the MLS.

"A location? I was proposed Miami, but it did not seem like the right solution, I have to think. Sooner or later, if my health allows ..."
