Napoli coach Rafa Benitez remains keen on Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel.
The Azzurri made an attempt for Skrtel last summer and Benitez is planning to try again in January.
Benitez is banking on Liverpool's swoop for defensive rivals Kolo Toure, Mamadou Sakho and Tiago Ilori forcing Skrtel to rethink his future at Anfield.
The former Reds boss is planning a £10 million bid for Skrtel in January.
