Napoli boss Rafa Benitez was left frustrated with their 2-2 draw against Empoli.
Napoli needed to fight back from being 2-0 down thanks to goals from Duvan Zapata and Jonathan De Guzman.
"Drawing on home turf is always a negative result, as we gifted two goals," confessed Benitez on Sky Sport Italia.
"We managed to fight back and in the end could even have won, but we are disappointed. We need to score more goals and concede fewer of them, it's that simple. It means improving both forward and back.
"The reaction of the team was positive and if we had scored the third goal at the death then we'd be here talking about a great comeback, but I also look at the errors of the first 20 minutes."
Napoli looked decidedly toothless until Gonzalo Higuain came off the bench.
"He missed two training sessions this week due to a muscular problem, so was not 100 per cent fit. De Guzman has a lot of quality and again today had a good game."
