Napoli coach Rafa Benitez explained hooking skipper Marek Hamsik during their 2-2 draw with Inter Milan.
Hamsik was again disappointing and substituted at San Siro.
"We all know he has freedom of movement on the field, but it's not easy to find space against a team with three at the back. He knows he can move around and help the team, both when attacking and defending.
"The other teams know Hamsik is dangerous and make it increasingly difficult for him to get time on the ball. It's a simple issue of how many players are in those areas."
