Napoli have approached Liverpool for fullback Nathaniel Clyne.
Goal says Carlo Ancelotti's side are desperate to sign a new right-back this summer and have made official contact with Liverpool chiefs.
Clyne, who is valued at £15million, enjoyed a six-month loan spell with Bournemouth last season - making 15 appearances for the Cherries.
And he could be viewed as a cheaper alternative to fellow Premier League target Kieran Trippier, who Tottenham rate at £25m.
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has also declared interest in keeping Clyne next season.
