Hibernian have released club captain Ian Murray.
The versatile 31-year old has had his second spell at Easter Road ended following his testimonial year for ten years of service to Hibs.
Murray, who has played little part this season because of a hip injury, understands the move by manager Pat Fenlon and is excited about what is next in his playing career.
"To be fair to the gaffer, things have moved on and changed since he's come in so there's no real surprise for me.
"I'm looking forward to my next challenge and wish all the Hibernian supporters all the best for next season.""I want to thank everyone for their support, especially this season with my testimonial. I've obviously loved my time at Hibernian," the former Rangers and Norwich City man told the club's official website.
