Mumbai City coach Peter Reid is set to land Spain international defender Carlos Marchena.
Correo de Andalucia says the former Valencia and Deportivo La Coruna centre-half is in advanced talks with Mumbai and set to pen terms.
Mumbai already boast Nicolas Anelka and Freddie Ljungberg on the books.
Marchena, 35, has won the World Cup and European Championship with Spain.
Mumbai currently sit fifth on the Indian Super League table, four points behind leaders Atletico de Kolkata.
