Moyes urging plenty of improvement from Man Utd

David Moyes has implored his Manchester United side to continue getting better following their 3-2 win over Hull City at the KC Stadium on Boxing Day.

United came from two goals down to edge the Tigers with Chris Smalling and Wayne Rooney pulling them level before an own-goal from James Chester won it for the visitors.

After the game, Moyes told Sky Sports that he wants his seventh-placed side to keep improving and bridge the eight-point gap with league leaders Arsenal.

"We've got a long way to go. We can only try to hang on to the teams that are above us," he said.

"We're going to have to win an awful lot of games between now and the end of the season but the players are making a right good go of it and I believe we can be there or thereabouts at the end of the season and that is what we'll try to do."
