Moyes rues missed chances as Man Utd crash out of FA Cup

Manchester United boss David Moyes was disappointed to see his side eliminated from the FA Cup in the third round after losing 2-1 to Swansea City.

The Red Devils managed to level in the 16th minute through Javier Hernandez after Wayne Routledge's 12th-minute opener before Wilfried Bony grabbed a winner in the final minute to heap more pressure on Moyes' debut season at Old Trafford.

The Scottish manager spoke of his side's defeat after the contest which also saw Fabio sent off with ten minute remaining for a late tackle on Jose Canas.

"We are a bit unlucky to lose but we probably didn't do enough to win it," Moyes told BT Sport.

"We made some opportunities, not enough, and when you're down to 10 men you want to see it out and take a replay but we didn't quite get that far."

He added: "I have no issues (with the card). The referee (Mike Dean) called it right.

"We played quite well at times, we got near the edge of the box quite regularly but didn't make the opportunity to score a goal or when we did get an opportunity take it. That was the disappointing thing, as we went behind and came back.

"We had certain periods of good control but we didn't get a goal or create enough chances."
