Moyes revives Man Utd move for Bruno Gomes amid Real Madrid enquiry

Manchester United remain in the frame for Desportivo Brasil striker Bruno Gomes.

The Daily Express says Gomes, who has sparked interest from Real Madrid, Udinese and Sao Paulo, is expected to join United upon turning 18 after impressing on trial last summer.

The Reds hold first refusal over the 17-year-old, but the deal is cancelled in the event of a bid over a certain level from another club.

Former boss Sir Alex Ferguson put the deal in place to protect the club from losing out on such a prospect, who Ferguson was a huge admirer of.

Current manager David Moyes is keen to take advantage of the deal put in place by his predecessor and, according to mufclatest.com, the Scot is close to securing his signature.
