Atletico Madrid enjoyed a comfortable 2-0 win over Real Sociedad last night.

Atletico had the points all but wrapped up inside the opening 10 minutes after netting twice, first through an own goal from Mikel Gonzalez and then a second from former Sociedad favourite Antoine Griezmann.

Real coach David Moyes said: "We wanted to create problems for Atlético, and at times we managed to do so. The plan was complicated by going down 2-0 so early in the match.

"I'm annoyed at the two goals we gave away as they resulted from two mistakes. We didn't deal with Atleti's dead ball situations very well."
