Moussa Sanoh admits he has regrets over his time with Crawley Town.
The former PSV Eindhoven youth teamer is now playing in Romania with FC Voluntari.
But he recalled to Voetbalzone of a difficult time at Crawley under their former manager Harry Kewell, a Champions League winner with Liverpool.
Sanoh revealed, “I was brought in by the technical director of Crawley Town, without the intervention of the trainer. I was promised that the trainer knew I was coming in."
Sanoh was also told Kewell had seen his videos and thought he was a good player.
“It turned out: the trainer did not know who I was. When he returned from his vacation, he looked at the squad. Although I did well in the preseason, he chose to bring in English players."
