Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is eager to install Thibaut Courtois as his number one goalkeeper next season.
Spanish daily Marca suggests that the Blues manager has decided to keep the talented Belgian gloveman at Stamford Bridge next season after three successful campaigns on loan at Atletico Madrid.
It was thought that Mourinho would again send Courtois out to continue furthering his development but it appears as though he will make him number one, moving veteran Petr Cech to the bench.
Courtois helped Atleti take out their first Spanish title since 1996 last season as well as playing an integral part in the club's Champions League campaign which ended in defeat to Real Madrid in the final.
