Jose Mourinho has welcomed former Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o to Inter Milan.
There were reports of a feud between the two men after a tempestuous game with Chelsea, but both of them have denied it.
"The alleged comments Eto'o made have never been a problem for me," Mourinho declared in the Press conference.
"I met Samuel another six times in three years since that day and I never worried about whether or not he really said those things about me.
"Do you know why? It's because he is just like me. After a defeat in an important match, he never goes home happy."
Losing Ibra to the Champions League holders is a blow for some fans, but Mourinho thinks it will make Inter stronger.
"The year after that game I wanted to bring Eto'o to Chelsea, but Barcelona said no. Now I speak on behalf of the entire team when I say we are very pleased he is with us.
"When the deal was finally concluded, the squad was given a new level of calm and we were able to build our system knowing he was on his way.
"Now I am absolutely happy and I'm certain I have the right squad for this season."
