Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho introduced a number of his new signings as second half substitutes as they completed their pre-season programme with a 1-1 friendly draw against Standard Liege in Belgium.
Dutchman Rafael Van der Vaart steered home an 11th minute free-kick to give Mourinho's men the lead but it was cancelled out 12 minutes from time by a header from Christian Benteke.
Angel di Maria, Ricardo Carvalho and Sami Khedira were introduced as part of wholesale changes made by Mourinho at half-time, although new signing Mesut Ozil did not figure.
