Jacob Blyth is confident Joseph Dodoo would be a big hit for Scottish club Rangers.
The Ibrox outfit are in negotiations with the 21-year-old Leicester City striker regarding a permanent move to Glasgow and his former Foxes colleague Blyth believes it would be a brilliant move for all parties involved.
"I'm good friends with Joe," said Blyth in the wake of Motherwell's 2-0 Betfred Cup defeat to Rangers on Saturday.
"It would be a great move for him if he signs for Rangers. He's a good lad and he has bags of ability.
"I was at Leicester City with him for four years and we played together week-in, week-out for the Under-21s. He played on the wing and I was up front. He'll do well up in Scotland. He's fit and athletic, strong and very direct.
"He'll have to fight for his place, but I know Joe has a brilliant attitude, so he'll do it."
