Motherwell have accepted an offer from Liverpool from Sam Campbell.

Football Insider reports the 16-year-old had a trial and transfer talks at the Premier League champions' Melwood headquarters last month after being granted permission to head south of the border.

But now Motherwell have offered a new three-year contract to Campbell, and have real hope he will sign it.

The report then goes on to claim that the teenager's other two main suitors, Leeds United and Brighton, now face the prospect of losing out on him.
