Glen Moss admits Gold Coast United are flying going into their knockout final with Central Coast Mariners.
The Queenslanders are still coming down from Sunday's epic victory at Adelaide United.
New Zealand goalkeeper Moss told tribalfootball.com: "We're on a huge roll right now after knocking out the two biggest clubs in the League. Hopefully we can take that confidence into our next match. It doesn't get any easier this weekend against the Mariners as they played really well last week against the Roar."
Moss admits it was a difficult lead up for him personally after the events in Christchurch.
"It's been a really tough week for all Kiwis, not just in New Zealand but here on the Gold Coast, our thoughts have been with Christchurch all week and I'm glad we got the win and made a few people smile."
Gold Coast's hero on Sunday was fellow Kiwi Shane Smeltz and Moss says the two-goal striker is a natural.
"I've played with Shane since we were school boys and can tell you even then he stood out from the rest," enthused Moss. "Not that he doesn't work hard in training, but I think he is just a natural talent.
"I've seen other strikers stay back every session to practice the things Shane can do and they're not even close."
