Morgan hopes Leicester stars including Mahrez follow suit

Leicester City boss Wes Morgan is hopeful that the Foxes' key players will stay put at the King Power Stadium.

Following their wonderful Premier League triumph last season, Leicester have had to deal with a lot of interest for their key players from various clubs this summer and the Foxes have already lost the services of star man N'Golo Kante to Chelsea so far.

Skipper Morgan has pledged his allegiance to the club though by signing a new three-year contract recently and the defender has now urged his teammates, such as the much-wanted Riyad Mahrez, to stay put at King Power Stadium to experience their maiden Champions League campaign.

Morgan said: "I know there's a lot of talking going off but hopefully everybody can follow in my footsteps. We want to maintain our key players and build on that with the new players because we have got a lot to play for this season.

"We have some fantastic players and some of the bigger teams in Europe are going to want them. We need to focus on our job, let the people talk the talk and do what we can do on the pitch.

"I suppose it's to be expected especially after the season we had and I suppose teams trying to poach our better players is part and parcel of the job."
