More injury heartbreak for Stoke's Sidibe

Unlucky Stoke City striker Mamady Sidibe looks set for another lengthy stint on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury today.

The 31-year old Mali international was returning to match fitness for the Potters with another reserves game against Port Vale this afternoon but is likely to again be on the wrong side of the fence as he broke down on the halfway line clutching his knee in the 72nd minute.

Sidibe had missed the previous 14 months after snapping his Achilles in August 2010 but was stretchered off after scoring in the first half.

Stoke have no further news on the problem but it certainly doesn't look great for the former Swansea City and Gillingham man.
