Former inter Milan president Massimo Moratti is impressed by their January market work.

Lukas Podolski and Xherdan Shaqiri have both arrived in the past week.

"Podolski has proven to be a smart player and experienced, otherwise he would not have fit in so quickly. Then there's Shaqiri: I'm really curious to see him working at Inter," said Moratti.

Moratti has also praised the work of Roberto Mancini.

"He knew how to lift the fans and changed the mentality of the group."
