Massimo Moratti has denied reports of plans to buy back Inter Milan from Erick Thohir.

It was claimed yesterday Moratti was seeking foreign finance to buy the club from Thohir, having sold Inter to the Indonesian only last year.

"Thohir has the credentials to do well. I support him, there are prerequisites for this to happen, he's sacrificing a lot. Nothing is true," said Moratti.

"I cannot miss Inter as a fan, I would perhaps have more satisfaction, if I was to be Thohir.

"But there is no possibility of buying back the club."
