Morales keen to sign new RSL deal

Javier Morales would love to remain with Real Salt Lake according to his agent.

The 32-year old Argentine midfielder missed most of the 2012 MLS campaign after breaking his ankle but is likely to be back at Rio Tinto Stadium once he and the club have sorted a new deal says his representative Alejandro Taraciuk.

"There are some challenges to overcome yet but we appreciate all the effort and good faith from Garth in trying to find a good outcome for the two parties," Taraciuk wrote in an email to The Salt Lake Tribune.

"And again, a happy outcome for Javi would be to stay in RSL for the next few years."

Morales, who joined RSL in 2007, has recently been linked with a number of Mexican clubs but the MLS outfit are confident of securing his services once again.
