Veteran defender Craig Moore says he is content with the current position of the newly named Brisbane Roar.
The club found out last night that Football Federation Australia has taken over a controlling stake of the club (51%), saving the cash-strapped club from extinction.
Suggestions for Moore to step in and buy a stake of the club were made but the player himself said he would not be involved in such actions until his playing days are behind him.
"My concern is still playing," he said.
"I am enjoying my football and hopefully I can do that for a good few years to come.
"Investments in football clubs, if it was going to be done, it would be when I was finished playing football."
Moore also commented on the club changing direction and having a positive future ahead.
"The changes that are being made, I think everyone is well aware of," Moore added.
"For me the club is in a very safe position with the FFA backing the club.
"Hopefully now we can look to bring in new investors to the club, because I do believe it is a club with fantastic potential."
