Monza are ready to move quickly after sacking coach Giovanni Stroppa today.

Stroppa, who led Monza to promotion last season, has paid for a poor start to their Serie A campaign.

TMW says Monza chief Adriano Galliani is already moving to replace him.

Claudio Ranieri is an early favourite for the job, while there is also the emotional prospect of Roberto Donadoni being approached.

Donadoni won everything in the game with Galliani and Monza president Silvio Berlusconi at AC Milan. Like Ranieri, Donadoni is a free agent.
