Monza are the latest club to make contact with released Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani.
The Uruguay international came off contract at United last week.
Cavani, 35, is expected to continue his career in Europe and has fielded approaches from Salernitana, Villarreal and Rayo Vallecano.
Sky Italia says Serie A new boys Monza have also made contact, with GM Adriano Galliani opening talks with the former Napoli star.
Monza have already recruited Stefano Sensi, Andrea Ranocchia, Alessio Cragno, Matteo Pessina, Andrea Carboni and Samuele Birindelli this summer.
