Incoming MLS franchise Montreal Impact has signed NASL player Ian Westlake.
The 28-year old former Ipswich Town, Leeds United and Cheltenham Town midfielder spent the second half of the 2011 season with the Impact and has now been added to the inaugural MLS squad delighting head coach Jesse Marsch.
"Ian's soccer qualities and competitive nature make him a very good fit for our team moving forward," said Marsch.
"I know Ian will come into work everyday and give everything he has. He is a real competitor and an excellent player on the field."
