Montreal Impact sign Bryan Arguez

The Montreal Impact announced Friday the signing of American midfielder Bryan Arguez.

Per club and Major League Soccer policy, terms of the agreement will not be disclosed.

Arguez, 22, played 19 games (2,065 minutes) in 2011 with the Fort Lauderdale Strikers in the North American Soccer League (NASL), in the second division, helping the team reach the NASL playoff final.

Arguez was selected in the first round, 11th overall, by D.C. United in the 2007 MLS SuperDraft. He spent one season in Washington before joining Bundesliga club Hertha BSC, in January 2008. In two seasons in the German first division, he played one game with the first team and 10 games with the reserve team. He has also worn the colours of Estoril Praia, in the Portuguese second division, and played seven games with Miami FC in 2010.
