Montreal Impact are chasing Juventus icon Alessandro del Piero. Del Piero's contract with Juventus expires in the summer and it has already been confirmed it will not be renewed, but he would like to continue playing.
He has hinted he would like a move to North America, where the MLS clubs have welcomed the likes of David Beckham and Thierry Henry.
It is reported Montreal Impact have prepared a $5m per season contract to join the MLS expansion club.
