Montreal Impact coach Henry: I'd welcome Wenger comparison

Montreal Impact coach Thierry Henry won't shy away from comparisons with former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

The Frenchman, 42, who was sacked by Monaco last season, still believes he has got what it takes to become a success on the touchline ahead of his latest coaching endeavour.

Speaking to Sky Sports, the Premier League icon said it would be 'the best' to be compared to his former manager Wenger as he looks set to prove himself in the dugout.

He said: “This is, I think for me [is] the best of the best because people value coaches on titles, as it should be."

But he adds: “I value coaches on how the coach made me improve."

According to the former 'king' of Highbury, Wenger was one of the best at this, adding: “What he told [me], how he dealt with my brain and [how] do I play better now because I was with him."
