MLS expansion franchise Montreal Impact have announced they have signed veteran Italian striker Bernardo Corradi.
The 35-year old will become available for the Canadian club as soon as his International Transfer Certificate is obtained from FIFA.
Corradi comes to the Impact on the back of an extensive career in Europe which began back in 1994 with Italian lower league club Poggibonsi before moving to Ponsacco and the Cagliari.
Since then, the Siena-born Corradi has played for the likes of Chievo, Inter Milan (no senior appearances), Lazio, Valencia, Parma, Manchester City, Reggina and most recently Udinese. He has played more than 250 matches in Italy's Serie A and has also represented Italy on 13 occasions with his last capo in 2004.
