Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella has sought to ease the tension with fans after victory over Parma.

Montella has railed against Fiorentina fans this past week.

"I must say, before the match the fans showed they were behind us, as they have in the past. That's what I expect.

"I'm happy that the team won, and that they won over the fans."
