Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella was proud of their Coppa Italia win over AS Roma.
Mario Gomez struck both goals in the 2-0 win for the Viola.
"It was a great performance and I saw a Fiorentina side that was superior to Roma in both halves, so the victory is more than fully deserved," declared Montella.
"We must have ambition and look forward, but so far we've done what we expected to this season. I am proud to be at the helm of this great team, made up of special people."
