Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella has warned the board the squad needs to be strengthened this summer.

Montella met with patron Andrea Della Valle over the weekend.

"It was lovely to be part of the joy in the stadium this evening and unfortunately these emotions can affect your thinking! I have a few more doubts after this match.

"I think we could play the same football next season, but need to be extremely clear that the squad did everything within its capabilities. In fact, it did even more.

"The directors told me to take some time off and relax before making a decision. Evidently I look tired."
