Montella delighted with dramatic Roma win over Udinese

AS Roma coach Vincenzo Montella was delighted with victory over Udinese - and with matchwinner Francesco Totti.

Antonio Di Natale had equalised at the 87th minute, but with the last kick of the game Totti turned in John Arne Riise's pull-back.

"After the equaliser it was difficult to find that determination to pour forward, but we did the same at Lecce and I'm very happy," smiled the Coach after their 2-1 victory.

"We also risked losing this game and had two counter-attacks, but this is part of football and I am happy with the attitude of the players.

"Totti has accustomed us to great performances as a centre-forward, even if at the end for that goal Marco Borriello drew away two defenders. Francesco deserves all the credit for what he is doing at the moment."

There were also nerves on the touchline when Totti chipped the spot-kick over Samir Handanovic.

"I don't know why, but before the game I had an inkling we'd be given a penalty and Francesco would miss it. I didn't tell him that, though!"
