Swansea City boss Garry Monk accepts his team will have to adjust their style to suit striker Bafetimbi Gomis after the departure of Wilfried Bony to Manchester City for £28m. The Frenchman Gomis scored in the Swans' 1-1 draw with West Ham - earning praise from Monk.
"I've got 100% faith in Bafe and I think you saw from his performance, he was pushing the team and trying to get his goals," said Monk.
Gomis offered more mobility and more movement than Bony, he added.
"Bony uses his strength to his advantage and is a different type of striker, and I think the more game time for Bafe he gets, the more used the team will get when we're playing him."
The Frenchman has been linked with a potential transfer from Swansea, but Monk is keen to keep Gomis.
"The players around him are trying to find his runs and supply from there. I thought he deserved that goal and, like I said, he's a top striker," added Monk.
