Monk insists nobody leaving Swansea as Gomis linked with Man Utd

Swansea City manager Garry Monk insists that none of the members of his first team squad will be leaving before the end of the transfer window.

The Welsh club continued their brilliant start to the season with a 2-1 victory over giants Manchester United on Sunday and the Swans' star man on the day, Bafetimbi Gomis, was immediately linked with a move to United following the game.

However, Monk has dismissed any possibility of such a transfer taking place and he added that Swansea will not be selling anyone within the next few days.

Monk said: "The squad we have will be the squad we go forward with. I think you saw from the way they played against Manchester United how happy they are and how excited they are about being here. This is the squad I want to work with, and I am very, very sure that will be the way it is."
