Monaco striker Berbatov makes glowing tribute to Arsenal

AS Monaco striker Dimitar Berbatov is looking forward to their Champions League clash with Arsenal.

The former Tottenham striker, now 34, only ever won one North London derby and scored his only goals at the Emirates Stadium for Fulham.

But the Bulgarian, who moved to Monaco from Fulham in January 2014, said: "Being back here is great for me, playing in this stadium.

"I have had some good moments here, scored a couple of goals, and also had some bad moments.

"Everyone knows they are a good team - they play football the way football should be played and make beautiful things happen. They play the purest form of football.

"Maybe this will be new for some of my team-mates, but I have explained to them that it will be difficult."
