Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao is set for an AS Monaco medical today.

The Colombia striker has long been linked with a move away from Atletico Madrid with Manchester United and Chelsea mooted as possible destinations.

However, Spanish media sources say he is on the brink of signing for Monaco in a €60 million deal, with a medical slated for today.

Monaco have already recruited the likes of highly-rated Porto pair Joao Moutinho and James Rodriguez for a combined fee of around £60million.
