AS Monaco are offering Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor a surprise return.
Adebayor, 26, is desperate to quit Eastlands and Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho is favourite to land him.
But Adebayor spent three years in Monaco - helping them to the Champions League final in 2004 - before joining Arsenal in a £7million move in 2006 and would not turn down a return, says the People.
Both Real and Monaco will look to sign Adebayor on loan with a view to a permanent switch at the end of the season.
