Ligue 1 club Monaco are interested in signing Newcastle United's promising young midfielder Oliver Kemen.
The 19-year-old arrived at St. James' Park from Metz in 2013, but has failed to break into the first-team squad.
Monaco have been impressed by the player after he captained France in the European Under-19 Championships during the summer.
According to The Express,Monaco are ready to pay £500,000 for the player who has been compared to Cheick Tiote by the Magpies manager Steve McClaren.
