French side Monaco are reportedly eyeing a move for Chelsea flop Gael Kakuta.
Chelsea went through a lot of trouble to secure the services of Kakuta back in 2007 but in his eight years at the club, the Frenchman has started only one league game.
Having spent loan spells at six different clubs, Kakuta has clearly not developed as well as Chelsea would have hoped and it is looking very likely that the 23-year old will be leaving Stamford Bridge for good this sumer.
While Kakuta may be surplus to requirements at Chelsea, he has managed to impress during his loan spell at Spanish side Rayo Vallecano this season and it has been reported in France that Monaco are open to the idea of taking a chance on the attacking midfielder.
