AS Monaco midfielder Joao Moutinho is agitating for a move away in January.
L'Equipe says Moutinho is unhappy with the direction Monaco appears to be heading and has asked his agent, Jorge Mendes, to find him a new club for the winter market.
Rather than be upset with Moutinho, ASM management have actually welcomed the developments as they're keen to get his €3.5 million salary off the books. The prospect of selling Moutinho for around €30 million is also pleasing for the board.
Arsenal have made an early move for Moutinho, with manager Arsene Wenger posting scouts to watch him in action last week.
Moutinho joined ASM last year from Porto, having come close to joining Andre Villas-Boas at Tottenham.
