Former Juventus sports chief Luciano Moggi believes the club got it wrong with their summer signings Felipe Melo and Diego.
Moggi says sports director Alessio Secco didn't do his homework on the pair.
He told TMW: "Obviously he sees it another way.
"I think Melo's ability is good but not as a director, he is a defensive midfielder. They have given away (Cristiano) Zanetti thinking of replacing him with Melo but were wrong in their assessment of his role.
"As for Diego, I think he is a good player, but one who hides. He never goes into the hot zone of the pitch to avoid taking the blows. Juve do not need someone like that."
