Luka Modric has passed a medical with Real Madrid paving the way for his transfer from Tottenham to be completed.
The Croatian playmaker has been linked with the Spanish champions for months and now his much talked about move looks to be on the verge of done with Madrid releasing the following statement on their official website.
"The new player of Real Madrid, Luka Modric, has passed the medical which he has undertaken at the Hospital Sanitas La Moraleja, prior to his signing for the club," the statement read.
"The Croatian has passed the different tests that he has taken without any problems."
Earlier today, the two clubs agreed a fee believed to be in the region of £33million with 26-year old Modric set to sign a five-year deal.
