Modric rethinks Real Madrid stay and SPL: 'He HATES the bench'

Luka Modric is considering leaving Real Madrid in January for the Saudi Pro League.

That's according to Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda when speaking on El Chiringuito.

The veteran midfielder rejected Al-Hilal over the summer, but has started only one game this season.

Inda said, "Modric he is a football star, he is a Ballon d'Or and he likes very little being left on the bench. To date, he has played only one starting match of the 5 official matches with Real Madrid and that match did not end, he played 75 minutes.

"The rest have been substitute and he's played a total of 161 minutes, which are not two whole games together. Modric is considering in the winter to accept the offer that this summer he rejected to play in Saudi Arabia.

"It is one thing to play less and another to play nothing. It is true that the club, his family did not want to leave Madrid, he has real estate businesses in the capital ... The club told him to stay until the end of the year to be at the presentation of the Bernabéu. They tell me that he carries fatal, fatal, worse than anyone, being a substitute."
